ক্রাইসিস ডকুমেন্টেশন সেন্টার – ক্রিডো একটি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন যা বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন সংকট ও মানবাধিকার লঙ্ঘনের অনলাইন ডকুমেন্টেশন করে।

Crisis Documentation Center — CRIDO is an archive-based non-profit organization led by volunteers. Its motive is to archive reliable data and information on various crises and human rights violations in Bangladesh to create a knowledge base for activists, organizations, researchers, and others.

Crido was founded in March 2020 with the primary purpose of documenting the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic in Bangladesh, and it published monthly documentation on its website from March 2020 to October 2021.

Besides, Crido started some other documentation projects like Sexual Harassments, Border Killing, Crisis of Indigenous People, Crisis of Working Class people, and Crisis in the Education Sector. Additionally, Crido documented various events including but not limited to a Fire Incident in Rupganj (2021), the Protest Against Narendra Modi’s Visit to Bangladesh, Power Plant Workers’ protest, and Police Action in Bashkhal (2021), etc.

Currently, Crido is documenting the incidents of the July Massacre in Bangladesh and hopes to expand its work even more.
